2026 Summer Programs
Dayton Ballet Summer Intensive at Wright State University
“While at Dayton Ballet’s Summer Intensive, I saw tremendous growth in my dancing over the course of four weeks. I was challenged daily in many different aspects and felt thoroughly influenced by all of the fantastic teachers. I completely enjoyed my time at the intensive and will continue to integrate the knowledge I learned during my time here.”
- Emma Van Norman
July 6–August 2 • 9am–4:30pm • Ages 12–23
In partnership with Wright State University, Dayton Ballet’s Summer Intensive offers a comprehensive 4-week program with a flexible 2-week option providing high-quality training in an encouraging, nurturing, and motivating environment. Dancers will have the opportunity to strengthen and improve their technique, which will continue to prepare them for a professional career in dance.
Dancers will be training at the beautiful studios at Wright State University. Our smaller classes will provide more one-on-one attention and ensure each dancer's maximum artistic and technical growth. Dancers will study ballet, pointe, variations, Men’s Technique, partnering, and ballet repertoire as well as complementary dance styles such as modern, contemporary, Pilates, and yoga.
Our Summer Faculty includes Dayton Ballet Artistic staff, Dayton Ballet Company Artists, and guest faculty from ballet companies around the U.S.
