Student Division

This is the foundational division where dancers learn the structure of a ballet class, technique, and classroom etiquette along with elective classes to enhance their ballet training.

Level 3 (Ages 10+)

Recommended Classes:
Two 90-Minute Ballet Classes with Pointe or Pointe Prep Per Week
One Conditioning Class Per Week
One Modern Class Per Week

Ballet III: Mondays at 6:30pm and Wednesdays at 4:30pm

Conditioning: Mondays at 8pm

Modern: Wednesdays at 6pm

Dancers continue to further their studies in Ballet and Modern adding more vocabulary and technical proficiency. This class brings added expectations as female dancers will study pre-pointe and have the opportunity to be evaluated for pointe work, and boys will increase range of motion and strength.

Level 4 (Ages 12+)

Recommended Classes:

Modern III/IV: Wednesdays at 6pm

Ballet IV: Thursdays at 4:30pm

Ballet and Pointe IV: Wednesdays at 7pm

Jazz IV: Thursdays at 7:30pm

Pointe IV: Thursdays at 6pm

Tap Elective: Mondays at 8pm

 

Dancers at this level will be introduced to more advanced vocabulary in Ballet, Pointe, and Modern. Jazz is a requirement at this level. Classes will focus on improving dancer’s stamina, flexibility, retention of material, and artistry. Dancers will be held to a high technical standard and will be required to demonstrate responsibility and commitment to their training.
