Dayton Ballet School Ensemble

Dayton Ballet School Ensemble (DBSE), divided into Junior and Senior ensembles, is a pre-professional training program available to dancers through audition only. This division is for dancers who are committed to a high level of dance training, strengthening, and artistic development along with elective classes to supplement their dance education. This division includes additional performance opportunities.

Dayton Ballet School Jr. Ensemble (Levels 5 & 6)

Required classes:

  • Ballet with pointe/pre-pointe
  • Conditioning
  • DBSE Rep and rehearsal
  • Modern
  • (Optional) Jazz

This level is for dancers who are motivated and passionate about dance. These classes require a rigorous schedule of training and performing. This level works to elevate dancers’ technique, artistry, comprehension, and quality of movement to a pre-professional level.
