DBS Spring Concert Performance Week Schedule
All Dayton Ballet School students come together each May to present our season-culminating Spring Production performance. In each level, students have a designated performance class role. Performance classes act as a regular technique class during the fall semester and switch to focus on choreography during the spring semester for part of the class. During Performance Week (the week leading up to the performance), all students are required to attend performance week rehearsals. Performance Week rehearsals will take place at our DBS studios. For the benefit of the student as well as their fellow classmates, it is important students attend all rehearsals in order to be prepared for Spring Production. After February 1, students are expected to have excellent attendance in their regularly-scheduled performance classes, as well as any additional Spring Production rehearsals.
Students with multiple absences (for reasons other than illness) may be removed from Spring Production at the discretion of DBS artistic leadership. In this event, the student is expected to continue to attend all regular classes, and families remain responsible for the price of annual tuition. Please make sure to contact DBS if your student needs to miss rehearsal/class.
Performance week schedule will be provided at a later date.
Costume Fee
Dancers from Creative Movement to Level 6 will be required to purchase their costumes through Revolution.
