Youth Division
This division is for dancers who are developing their technique, artistry and knowledge of ballet vocabulary along with elective classes to supplement their ballet training.
Level 2
Mondays at 4:30pm
Saturdays at 12pm
This class will focus on increasing ballet terminology and technique through the execution of barre work, center, and across the floor exercises. Dancers in level 1 will focus on carriage of the upper body, flexibility, and movement quality. New steps and concepts are introduced building onto Level 1.
Level 3
Mondays at 6:30pm
Wednesdays at 6:30pm
Saturdays at 12pm
Dancers continue to increase ballet terminology and technique, while adding more emphasis on musicality, alignment, and focusing on epaulement.
Level 4
Mondays at 4:30pm
Thursdays at 4:15pm
Fridays at 4:40pm (ballet with conditioning)
Dancers continue to increase ballet terminology and technique, while adding more emphasis on musicality, alignment, focusing on epaulement, and increasing quality of movement.
Level 5
Mondays at 5:45pm (ballet with pointe)
Mondays at 7:45pm (conditioning)
Wednesdays at 4:30pm (ballet)
Fridays at 4:30pm (ballet with pointe)
Dancers continue to further their studies in Ballet by adding more vocabulary and technical proficiency. This class brings added expectations as female dancers will study pre-pointe and have the opportunity to be evaluated for pointe work, and boys will increase range of motion and strength.
Boys Classes
Tuesdays at 6:15pm
Thursdays at 7pm
All boys/mens' classes are designed for dancers beyond Preparatory Ballet to dedicate time toward strengthening their technique for proper execution of jumps and turns.
Boys are encouraged to also take an additional ballet class in his assigned level and as well as an elective dance class.
