Boys Classes (Ages 7-12)

One to Three Hours Per Week

From beginner to more advanced students, classes for young men are designed specifically to develop technique that focuses on the athletic challenges of the male dancer.

*Advancing to pointe work: Dancers will be evaluated during their ballet technique class to determine their readiness for pointe work – their ballet teacher will decide if they are ready to advance. Dayton Ballet School believes in the importance of your dancer’s well-being and future. Students are introduced to pointe work only after their feet, legs and bone structures have begun to mature and only after several years of serious quality ballet training that has developed their muscles.
