Must have at least 3 years of formal ballet training. Opportunity to advance to pointe work* at the age of 11 - will be offered as part of the class.
*Advancing to pointe work: Dancers will be evaluated during their ballet technique class to determine their readiness for pointe work – their ballet teacher will decide if they are ready to advance.
Dayton Ballet School believes in the importance of your dancer’s well-being and future. Students are introduced to pointe work only after their feet, legs and bone structures have begun to mature and only after several years of serious quality ballet training that has developed their muscles.Classes are 90 minutes, recomended 2 classes a week.
