Intermediate Classes (7-12 Years)
Our intermediate level ballet classes have plenty of fun and friends, and this is where training begins. Students will learn to move with grace and balance in everyday life, as well as the important basics for becoming a serious dancer.
During the 2021-22 School Year, we will be transitioning to required class level color leotards and T-shirts. Please have your dancer's uniform by the Dayton Ballet School Showcase in May 2022. They will be used as part of their costumes.

*Advancing to pointe work: Dancers will be evaluated during their ballet technique class to determine their readiness for pointe work – their ballet teacher will decide if they are ready to advance.Dayton Ballet School believes in the importance of your dancer’s well-being and future. Students are introduced to pointe work only after their feet, legs and bone structures have begun to mature and only after several years of serious quality ballet training that has developed their muscles.
Begin your journey into the amazing world of ballet!
